On the set: Modern Warfare 2 Meets Metal Gear Solid

I recently had the privilege of photographing the endeavors of filmmaker Micah Moore on the set of his newest series of short films, “Modern Warfare 2 Meets Metal Gear Solid“. A spoof combining characters from the two video games, the films are a hit with gaming fans and have already received over 100,000 hits. Working with Micah and the crew was a blast as always and here are a few shots to see what we did.

beat down boogie – set photography

Set photography is a growing interest of mine. It basically uses still photography to document the process of making a movie. Here are a few photos for the trailer for the film Beat Down Boogie. Beat Down is a local film still in the works by director and producer Micah Moore. Check out these websites for more information.

nc film internship

Hi everybody, the past couple weeks have been insane balancing two internships and two part-time jobs but I am having a blast and learning a lot! The NC Film Office is changing their website and creating a database of photographs of different locations around North Carolina. These photographs will help promote North Carolina as a place to film a variety of scenes. Most of the photographs need to be in panoramic form in order to look more cinematic. Our first assigment was to photograph mcmansions, baseball fields and small-town downtowns. Here is a little taste of what I have been doing!
